Office Christmas party ideas for London workplaces
The office Christmas party is one of the few times the whole team is in one room, so it is worth making it more than drinks at the pub. A shared activity gives people something to talk about, and good food gives them a reason to stay.
Make the party a workshop
A festive workshop turns the party into something people actually remember. Teams can shake festive cocktails, build and decorate gingerbread houses, decorate cupcakes and cookies, make wreaths or candle holders, print woodblock Christmas cards or lino printed stockings, or make ornaments from recycled fabric. Everyone leaves with something they made.
The workshops run at your office or venue rather than a studio, with the format and space confirmed before booking, so there is no travel to organise. See the seasonal list on our seasonal workshops page.
Sort the food properly
Christmas catering can be as simple or as generous as you need: a hot buffet for a sit down lunch, canapés for a standing party, or sharing platters in between. Menus come from independent chefs cooking dishes from their own cultures, so the table can cover Greek, Thai, Indian, Korean, Ukrainian and more in one meal. Details are on our catering page.
Combine the two
A workshop followed by food gives the evening a natural shape: an activity first, then canapés or a buffet. It all happens at your office or venue, so there is no separate space to hire.
A few practical notes
November and December dates are the busiest of the year, so it helps to have two or three possible dates in mind. When you send an enquiry, tell us your dates, group size and venue, plus any dietary needs, and we will come back with ideas that fit your plans and budget.
